Danielle Staresinic is a graduate of the University of Waterloo and earned her Doctor of Optometry Degree at Indiana University. She bought Lawrenceville Vision Care from Dr. Nancy Wiggins in 2001. This was the start of a dream that living and working in an urban neighborhood not only was possible, but preferable. Walk to work, walk to school, walk to the grocery store (almost!), walk to the eye doctor.
She lives in the neighborhood with her husband Chuck and their four children. You can find them at the park or in the library on most days.
Michael Lacina attended Duquesne University and graduated with clinical honors from the Ohio State University College of Optometry. He has been a part of Lawrenceville Vision Care for many years where he has practiced full scope optometry, ranging from pediatric care to disease management. He specializes in prescribing hard-to-fit contact lenses. We are sorry to say goodbye to Dr. Mike. While he continues to practice optometry in the Pittsburgh area he will be spending more time at home with the anticipated arrival of his third child.
